Earnest ``Shot'' Wilson Jr., of the 4100 block of Williamson St., a retired warehouseman, died July 12, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born in Norfolk County and was a member of New Mount Olive AME Church, Chesapeake, where he was also a class leader, Steward member and Choir member. He retired 10 years ago from the Naval Supply Center after 32 years and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Arthalia Wilson; one daughter, Anganette Wilson; one son, Earnest Wilson III; and one sister, Irene Perry, all of Chesapeake; one brother, the Rev. Wesley Wilson of Norfolk; an aunt, Melissa Lassiter of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Saturday in New Mount Olive AME Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. James Johnson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 4129 Williamson St., Chesapeake, at 10 a.m. Saturday for the funeral processional to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
