Vernon M. ``Pappy'' Crowson, 73, of the 8700 block of Chesapeake Blvd., died July 13, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Crowson was born in Catskill, N.Y., and was retired from the quality control department of Ford Motor Company after 33 years. He was a member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lafayette Lodge (NU)9. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Leona Crowson; one daughter, E. Catherine Crowson of Norfolk; two sons, David C. Crowson and Scott Crowson, both of Norfolk; one sister, Margaret E. Hale of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Cameron Myers Crowson and Clifton Scott Crowson, both of Norfolk; and one daughter-in-law, Lisa Kim Crowson of Norfolk.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
