Jody Wayne Schenk, 36, of the 200 block of Beechwood Drive, died July 15, 1994, in Obici Hospital.
Mr. Schenk was born in Newport News and was a Baptist. He was a caustic operator with Union Camp in Franklin. He was a member of the Suffolk Golf Association and the Holland Athletic Asociation, where he was also coach of the football team.
Survivors include his wife, Lenee Jones Schenk; a daughter, Elizabeth Schenk; a son, Matthew Schenk; two stepsons, Earl Morton and Tray Morton; and his mother and father, Betty Archie Schenk and Clyde Henry Schenk, all of Suffolk; a sister, Karen Schenk of Irvine, Calif.; and a brother, Ronnie Schenk of Suffolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Monday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary W. Kumm. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home and other times at the residence. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holland Athletic Association Football Program, 7821 Ruritan Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23437.
