She was born in Selma, Ala.
Survivors include two daughters; two sons; her mother, Esther R. Poyner of Norfolk; three sisters; two brothers; four grandchildren; two uncles; three nephews; four great-nieces and one great-aunt.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 404 W. 28th St. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
