James Earl Jordan, 63, a retired chief warrant officer, died July 14, 1994, in Zwolle.
He was born in Norfolk and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Many, La. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Jordan; a daughter, Dorothy Coates of Morgan City, La.; three sons, James Earl Jordan Jr. and Garland K. Jordan of Florida and Brian Jordan of Barhamsville, Va.; two sisters, Dorothy Peebles of Charlotte, N.C., and Phyllis Kemp of Chesapeake; a brother, Toy Jordan Jr. of Virginia Beach; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Graham Funeral Home supplied information.
