Wilson R. Thomas, 55, of the 4400 block of Winchester Drive, died July 14, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Thomas was born in Nansemond County, son of Hattie W. Winn of Chesapeake and the late Norman Thomas. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Suffolk. He was a maintenance worker.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy Gaskins Thomas; two daughters, Lisa Allen and Kim Thomas of Suffolk; a stepson, Ronald Gaskins of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother, Milton Thomas of Bronx, N.Y.; a sister, Jean Brewington of Hawaii; a sister-in-law, Margaret Foster of Portsmouth; a brother-in-law, Edward Foster of Portsmouth; an uncle, Nathaniel Walker Sr. of Suffolk; two aunts, Amanda Walker and Bessie Walker of Suffolk; a great-aunt, Elizabeth Wyatt of Newport News; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Crocker Funeral Home by the Rev. Bernard Thomas. Burial will be private.
