James Earl Jordan, 63, a retired chief warrant officer, died July 14, 1994, in Zwolle, La.
Mr. Jordan was born in Norfolk. He retired from the Coast Guard after 23 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Many, La.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Jordan; a daughter, Dorothy Coates of Morgan City, La.; three sons, James Earl Jordan Jr. and Garland K. Jordan of Florida and Brian Jordan of Barhamsville, Va.; his mother, Emily Louise Hughes of Chesapeake; two sisters, Dorothy Peebles of Charlotte, N.C., and Phyllis Kemp of Chesapeake; a brother, Toy Jordan Jr. of Virginia Beach; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Graham Funeral Home supplied the information.
