Mary Dolores DiProfio Murphy, age 75, of Smith's Neck Road, died Friday, July 15, in Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News.
Mrs. Murphy, a homemaker, was a native of Hopewell, Virginia. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Smithfield. She was the widow of George Cleveland Murphy, Sr.
Survivors include: Sister: Jeanette L. Crockett - McLean, Va.; Nieces: Two.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 1994 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Smithfield with Father Thomas B. Nee. Burial will be in the Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell. A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 1994, at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Lung Association of Virginia, Southern Region, 129 N. Saratoga Street, Suffolk, Virginia 23434. Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, will handle arrangements.
