John Colin Booth, 38, of the 1300 block of Anne Ave., died June 30, 1994, in an Atlanta, Ga., hospital.
Mr. Booth was born in Portsmouth. He was a 1973 graduate of Oscar F. Smith High School and a long-time employee of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. He was the son of the late Charles L. Booth.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Teresa Booth of Chesapeake; two sisters, Snooky Booth Stowe of Florida and Diane Booth Cherry of Virginia Beach; and two brothers, Chuck Booth of Chesapeake and Brian Booth of Illinois.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Nelson Hodges. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Oscar F. Smith High School Scholarship Fund or a favorite charity.
