Presley Otto Atkinson, Jr., 76, of the 400 block of Elmhurst Lane, died July 16, 1994, in his residence.
He was a native of Norfolk. He was in automobile sales for over 50 years and was employed by Airline Auto Sales. He will be truly missed. Thank you, Ted Bailey, for caring. He was the husband of Mary M. Atkinson.
Other survivors include one son, Glenn R. Atkinson, preceded in death by a son, Presley Atkinson III; one stepdaughter, Charlene Langford; one stepson, William Garrett and preceded in death by a stepson, Charles Garrett, Jr.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Ernestine Caffee; two daughters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and lots of friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
