William H. ``Brother'' Johnson Jr., 40, of the 3500 block of Commerce St., Apartment 16, a carpet cleaner, died July 14, 1994, in Riverside Building, Norfolk.
Mr. Johnson was born in Portsmouth. He was employed with K Plus Services Inc. He was a member of Third Baptist Church and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Stella M. Johnson; a son, Troy N. Johnson of Portsmouth; a stepson, Amos C. Epps Jr. of Portsmouth; three sisters, Theresa King of Severn, Md., Tawana Johnson of Norfolk and Rhoda Johnson of Chicago; two brothers, Clayton F. Johnson of Augusta, Ga. and Victor D. Johnson of Petersburg, Va.; a foster paternal grandmother, Sue Vinson of Portsmouth; one grandchild; an aunt, Sallie Watkins of Bronx, N.Y.; an uncle, Vernon Copeland of Greensboro, N.C.; and a host of cousins and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
