Betty Lee Hobbs, 62, of the 300 block of Albert Ave., a retired medical secretary, died July 16, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Hobbs was born in Norfolk County, Va. She had retired from Dr. T.C. Mascarina's office.
Survivors include her husband, Howard J. Hobbs of Chesapeake. She had seven children, Darlene Ridenhour, Jerry Hobbs, Nancy Nichols, all of Portsmouth, Melvin Hobbs, David Hobbs and Randy Hobbs, all of Chesapeake and Deborah Clarke of Manteo, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Jay Sedwick. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
