Turner Hall ``Obi'' O'Brien Jr., 67, of the 5600 block of Hearth Circle, a retired sheet metal mechanic, died July 20, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. O''Brien was born in Norfolk and was retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility after 38 years. He was a member of Westwood Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Vines O'Brien; two sons, Turner H. O'Brien III and James F. Dixon, both of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Jess Jackson. Friends may join the family at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, for visitation this evening between 7:30 and 9 p.m. and at the residence at other times, 5669 Hearth Circle, Virginia Beach.
