RICHARD EDWARD KIFF

Richard Edward Kiff, 42, of the 1400 block of S. Joyce St., Arlington, Va., died July 18, 1994, in his residence.

He was a native of Chesapeake and the son of Ralph E. and Evelyn M. Hughes Kiff. Mr. Kiff graduated from Great Bridge High School in 1970 and from the University of Georgia School of Journalism in 1974. He was employed with the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, in Washington, D.C.

Survivors are his parents of Chesapeake; sisters, Margaret Kiff of Virginia Beach and Kay Kiff of Chesapeake; brother, William Kiff of Chesapeake; and one nephew, William Louis Kiff.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bob Sowder. Friends may join the family at a reception in the fellowship hall at the church immediately following the service.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Richard's memory to the Hospice of Northern, Virginia, 4715 N. 15th St., Arlington, Va. 22205.
