Leon Davis of the 1100 block of W. 38th St., a laborer, died July 17, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Davis was born in North Carolina and was a member of First Baptist Church Lamberts Point, Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, Anthony Leon Davis of Newark, Del.; three sisters, Gaynell Congo and Emma L. Harmon, both of Wilmington, Del., and Brenda Harris of Newark, Del.; two brothers, Jerome Davis of Norfolk and Metro Eugene Harris of Wilmington; a grandchild; his beloved friend, Gladys Bright of Norfolk; devoted uncle and aunt, George and Lucy Goss; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Friday in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The family will receive friends at 510 Stalham Road, Chesapeake, and will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
