EDNA G. SMITH

Edna Gray Smith, 69, a retired officer manager, died July 20, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Smith was born in Norfolk and was retired from J.C. Penney. She was the widow of Lenard S. Smith and was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda S. Perry, and a son, Raymond W. Summers, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Alta Drummond of Virginia Beach and Jackie Hearn of Philadelphia; and a brother, Julius B. Gray Jr. of Virginia Beach.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
