Lloyd Worth Lawrence, 71, of the 900 block of U.S. 17 North, died Tuesday, July 19, 1994, in the V.A. Hospital in Hampton, Va.
Mr. Lawrence was a native of Bertie County and was a member of Windsor Assembly of God Church. He was retired from Lea Lumber Co.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Pierce Lawrence; a daughter, Edith Lawrence Thompson of Windsor; a son, L. Kenneth Lawrence of Windsor; sisters, Nellie Gray White of Ahoskie and Mildred L. Simmons of Chesapeake; brothers, Jimmy Lawrence of Raleigh and Roy Lawrence of Columbia, S.C.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Windsor Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Chuck Gray and the Rev. Glenn Lawrence. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
