A 30-year-old Norfolk man pleaded guilty Wednesday to beating a man to death in March in the Huntersville section.
Keith T. Foreman was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter for the slaying of Calvin Lankford, 27. He was sentenced to a year in jail.
The beating occurred on March 1 in the 1700 block of Church St. The two men were fighting and Lankford received multiple blows to the head, court records show. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died six days later from his injuries.
