Jane Knox Taylor, 80, of 1439 Redwood Court, died July 20, 1994, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
A native of McCall, S.C., she was the widow of Henry McCoy Taylor. Mrs. Taylor had worked as a companion aide for many years. She was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church and the Ladies Bible Class.
Survivors include three sons, Henry McCoy Taylor Jr. of Suffolk, Jimmy Taylor of Richmond and Jerry Taylor of Nashville, N.C.; two brothers, James Knox and Robert Knox, both of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Bruce A. Havens. The family will be at her home. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
