Frederick Gray Joyner, 87, a native of Suffolk, died June 15, in Grand Rapids, Mich.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a niece, Anne J. Jordan of Suffolk; and three nephews, William L. Joyner Sr. of Suffolk, Richardson Hill Garrett of Greer, S.C., and W. Reid Fitchett Jr. of Cary, N.C.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Burns. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
