MARY CHAMBLEE-ZEIGLER

Mary Chamblee-Zeigler of the 2400 block of Grandy Ave., a retired civil service employee, died July 19, 1994, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

She was a native of Colerain, N.C., a member of Rock Church, Virginia Beach, and the church choir, and was a former missionary to Abbsinia Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Zeigler of New York; two sisters, Lessie Davis of Baltimore and Eva McNeil of Rocky Mount, N.C.; a brother, Thellie L. Chamblee of Baltimore; a niece, Beactrice Vann of Winton, N.C.; and several other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Rock Church, Virginia Beach, by Bishop John Gimenez. Burial will be in Northern Cemetery, Rocky Mount, N.C. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The body will be taken to church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The family will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. for the processional. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
