DAVID B. BROWDER

David Burton Browder, 22, of the 500 block of Pine View Court, died Thursday in a Harrisonburg hospital.

Mr. Browder was born in Newport News. He was employed by the Unicorn Trading Co., Harrisonburg, Va., and was a member of the Tidewater Bicycle Association.

Survivors include his mother, JoAnn Jemmott Browder of Chesapeake; his maternal grandmother, Charlotte H. Jemmott of Virginia Beach; two uncles, Herbert K. Jemmott of Gaithersburg, Md., and John F. Jemmott of Philadelphia.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Barbara Blakemore and the Rev. Ted Bailey. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oman Family Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 5 to 7 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army for the flood victims in Georgia.
