Roland Griffin, of the 600 block of Lord Dunmore Drive, died July 20, 1994.
Mr. Griffin was born in Pasquotank County, N.C. He was a member of New Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include his wife, Vernice M. Griffin; two sons, Roland C. Griffin and Michael J. Griffin, both of Latrobe, Pa.; three sisters, Susie Owens, Gracie Davis and Ella Mae Dyer, all of Long Island, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in New Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. John C. Smith. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
