Edward Warren Plummer Sr., of the 1800 block of Carswell St., died Thursday, July 21, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Plummer was born in Norfolk and was retired from the International Longshoreman's Association, Local (NU)1248, after 31 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Arleda M. Plummer; a daughter, Deborah D. Plummer of Norfolk; two sons, Edward W. Plummer Jr. of Norfolk and Chauncey J. Plummer Sr. of Dallas; two sisters, Marjorie P. Spivey of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mildred P. Whitehurst of Norfolk; two brothers, Isaiah J. Plummer Sr. of Virginia Beach and Melchizedek Plummer Sr. of Norfolk; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one daughter-in-law, Rita J. Plummer of Dallas; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Graves Funeral Home by Bishop Raymond Worrell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1818 Carswell St., Norfolk.
