A man was shot and killed Friday morning after an argument spiraled into an armed confrontation.
Jeffrey Barrett, 28, was shot to death after he and a man with whom he was arguing pulled out guns, police said.
Investigators said only one gun was fired.
The shooting occurred on the front porch of a house in the 2100 block of Marshall Ave. Police would not release the identity of the other man, pending an investigation.
Barrett was pronounced dead at the scene. His last known address was the 600 block of Ridley Circle.
On Monday, investigators will discuss the case with the commonwealth's attorney, who will decide whether to press charges.
