THE RECENTLY launched fx cable channel is sending an on-camera host and producer to Virginia, including Southside Hampton Roads, on Monday to do a week of live segments for the channel's ``Breakfast Time'' morning show.
Jillian Hamilton will appear in four-minute remotes at sites that include the Chincoteague Pony Penning, Jamestown, Virginia Beach and the Norfolk Naval Base.
The cut-ins are scheduled to be on the program shortly after 7 a.m. and again after 8 a.m. On Friday, fx is scheduled to focus on the lifeguards at the Oceanfront. The Navy visit is set for Thursday.
Fox Inc. announced the Norfolk area coverage at a meeting of TV critics in Los Angeles. All local cable systems carry fx, which is seen in 18 million homes. by CNB
