Connie Lee Moore of the 1900 block of Meadowlake Court, a homemaker, died July 21, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Moore was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Wesley B. Moore Sr.
Survivors include six daughters, Christine Lamb, Phyllis Shannon, Ellen R. Moore, Constance Moore, Alton McDowell and Benita Moore, all of Norfolk; a son, Wesley B. Moore Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C.; six sisters, Lucille Cradle of Philadelphia, Pa., and Rebecca Smith, Ruth Whitney, Lanice Reynolds, Evelyn Sharp and Ellen Williams, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Melvin Godfrey of Philadelphia, Pa., and Floyd Jernigan of Norfolk; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a devoted and very special friend, Dena Jennings. She was predeceased by her parents, Connie Lee Jernigan and Oscar Jernigan.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
