Karl Lee Hill, Sr., 62, of the 1400 block of Norlina Drive, died July 23, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Hill was born in Norfolk and was the self-employed owner of K's carpet and tile company, Chesapeake. He was a member of Parkway Temple, Chesapeake.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Hill; two daughters, Karen H. Harris and Kay H. English, and two sons, Karl L. Hill Jr., and Kelly L. Hill, all of Chesapeake; four sisters, Gayle Stephens, Barbara Elliott and Shirley Knox, all of Portsmouth, and Delores Shelton of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; a brother, Arthur Franklin Hill of Chesapeake; and grandchildren, Kevin Hill, Kristen Hill, Jennifer Harris, Megan Harris, Eric Harris, Krystal English and Karson Hill, all of Chesapeake.
A church service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parkway Temple by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and will be at the residence all other times. Contributions may be made to Parkway Temple, c/o Circle of Friends, in memory of Karl L. Hill, Sr., 601 Volvo Pky., Chesapeake, Va. 23320.
