Martin C. ``Marty'' McDade, 44, of the 1500 block of Victory Blvd., a retired chief hospital corpsman, died July 22, 1994, in his residence.
He was a native of LaSalle, Ill. He retired from the Navy after 24 years and was currently employed at Howell & Sherrill Realty as a Realtor. He was a member of the Chief Petty Officers Association and was a Navy veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm. He was the son of the late Edward W. McDade Sr., and Catherine Rogers McDade.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia L. McDade; three daughters, Jenifer E. McDade of Duluth, Minn., and Kristen A. McDade and Brigit-Aileen K. McDade, both of Portsmouth; a son, Timothy S. McDade of Duluth, Minn.; two sisters, Mary Margaret Thomas of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Cheryl Zerke of Plainsview, Minn.; and a brother, Edward W. McDade Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla.
The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
