Guynell Newton Black, 86, of the 5200 block of Shenstone Circle, died July 23, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Black was born in Caroleen, N.C., the widow of Hoyle C. Black and a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Baker, and son-in-law, Paul Baker, both of Virginia Beach; and two sisters, Maude Hamrick and Mavis Byers, both of Forest City, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Dick Baker. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today.
