Chesapeake police need help finding a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint in the 900 block of N. Battlefield Blvd.

On May 20, at 10:30 a.m., the victim left a Wendy's on her way to a bank where she was going to deposit money.

When the woman got into her vehicle, an unidentified man pointed a handgun at her and demanded the money.

The suspect is described as black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket and ball cap.

A witness said a red dump truck had been parked by a telephone booth just before the robbery and left the scene just afterward.

Police have developed a composite of the robbery suspect.

Additionally, police have noted a strong similarity between the suspect shown in this composite and the composites of suspects in two similar crimes.
