MAN DIES AFTER SHOOTING

A 34-year-old man died Sunday night about a half-hour after he stumbled into a gas station, wounded and seeking help.

Walter M. Taylor of the 3600 block of Gateway Drive died shortly after 7 p.m. at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Police said Taylor went to an Amoco station in the 3900 block of Twin Pines Road about 6:30 p.m. and said he'd been shot. A clerk called police. Police said witnesses reported seeing four men, possibly juveniles, fleeing the area about the time of the shooting.

Police had no suspects Sunday.
