Gloria Eason King, 44, died July 22, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. King was born in Northampton County, N.C., and was a guard for the New York School Board of Education.
Survivors include her husband, Alberto King; parents, William and Shirlene Hoggard Eason, both of Woodland, N.C.; two sisters, Mary C. Parker of Aulander, N.C., and Patricia A Smith of Courtland, Va.; four brothers, Chon Eason of Raleigh, N.C., Laron Eason of Bronx, N.Y., Curtis Eason of Lewiston, N.C., and Dred M. Eason of Charlotte, N.C.; and grandparents, William and Belva Hoggard of St. John, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Jerusalem Baptist Church, Woodland, by the Rev. James Vinson Sr. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hunter's Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements.
