Jerry Charles Moody Sr., 71, died July 25, 1994, in a Suffolk hospital.
Mr. Moody was a native of Kingsport, Tenn. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Schultz of Suffolk; two sons, Larry Moody of Norfolk and Jerry Moody Jr. of Newport News; two sisters, Leslie Davis of Suffolk and Hope Olsson of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Barbara Schultz and Heather Moody.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, by the Rev. Fred Bates Jr. Burial will be in Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
