Lewis Williams, 75, of the 100 block of Thrasher Road, died Sunday in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in Carrsville, Va., and was the son of the late Ell Peaner and Naomie Worrell Williams.
Survivors include three sisters, Sarah Hand of Mechanicsville, Va., Louise Parker of Los Angeles and Mary Whitley of Suffolk; two brothers, Benjamin H. Williams of Norfolk and Claude B. Williams of Philadelphia. Mr. Williams was also survived by a devoted nephew, Dawson Stermer as well as 15 other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, Va. Oman Family Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is handling arrangements.
