BENJAMIN W. BROWN

Benjamin Walter ``Billy'' Brown of the 100 block of Bouldin Ave., died July 24, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Brown was born in Southampton County.

Survivors include seven sisters, Hazel Gainous and Catherine Hood, both of Norfolk, Gloria Simmons of Virginia Beach, Barbara James of Elmsford, N.Y., Thelma Deloatch and Lorraine Brown, both of Suffolk, and Joyce Lane of Ivor; four brothers, James Brown of College Park, Ga., Earl and Eugene Brown, both of Norfolk, and Joseph Brown of Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Metropolitan Funeral Service Chapel, Norfolk, by Bishop Wilbert Mann. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Sedley, Va. Family and friends will assemble at 2340 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, at 11 a.m. Friday for the funeral processional to the chapel.
