CHARLES J. WATERFIELD JR.

Charles Jefferson Waterfield Jr., 50, of the 3700 block of Brennan Ave., a retired technical manager, died July 25, 1994, in Norfolk.

Mr. Waterfield was born in Norfolk and was retired from C & P Telephone Co. after 28 years. He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Old Dominion University; was an Army veteran of Vietnam; and an avid sailor and former state wrestling champion.

Survivors include three daughters, Kerbi Waterfield and Courtney Waterfield, both of Chesapeake, and Chela Waterfield of Norfolk; and a half sister, Suzanne Jones of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at 814 Woodrow Court, Great Bridge, Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to ALS Association, 21021 Ventura Blvd., Suite 321, Woodland Hills, Calif. 91364.
