Police have identified a man who was found beaten in the 1200 block of Mapole Ave. as Charles J. Waterfield Jr. of Norfolk.
Waterfield, 50, of the 3700 block of Brennan Ave., died Monday in a hospital. He was found over the weekend.
Police have no motive or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Line at 441-5100.
