Now that the television series ``NYPD Blue'' has garnered a record 26 Emmy nominations, perhaps Hampton Roads viewers deserve a chance to make up their own minds about the program.
I don't want someone else deciding what I can or cannot watch or read, particularly if these misguided individuals have not read or seen the target of their censorship quest. If the local network affiliate submits so easily to the will of the minority, can public book-burnings be far behind?
