DOROTHY P. MANN

Dorothy Potter Mann, 71, of Virginia Beach, was chosen to embrace the Light at the home of her daughter on July 27, 1994.

Having resided in both North Carolina and Virginia, Mrs. Mann moved to Virginia Beach in 1986. An active member of London Bridge Baptist Church, a member of the Echoes and Beach Tones, a volunteer at Virginia Beach General Hospital and past matron of Williamsburg chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, she served her church and her community well.

Sharing those precious memories of love, laughter and smiles are her daughters, Bess and Patricia Mann of Virginia Beach; the families of her sister, Goldie Bernard of Palm Springs, Calif.; and her brothers, D.F. Paul of Raleigh, N.C., and Grady Spain of Washington, N.C. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Potter.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at London Bridge Baptist Church on Potters Road at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 1994. A private burial service will take place at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, American Heart Association or to London Bridge Baptist Church.
