Helen Louise McClain, 74, died July 27, 1994, in Norfolk.
She was born in Ligonier, Pa., and was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John ``Jack'' McClain; three daughters, Barbara M. and her husband, Bobby Joe Rice, of Virginia Beach, Sharon L. and her husband, William Roland McCleary, of Charlottesville, Va., and Susan E. McClain of London, England; five sisters, Mary Armor, Anna Ruth Demmitt, Kathryn Darr and Effie Woods, all of Ligonier, Pa., and Mabel Jean Stynchula of Champaign, Ill.; a brother, Glenn Nicely of Ligonier; and three grandchildren, Robert J. Rice, John McCleary and Meghan McCleary.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Morris Bennett and the Rev. John Teter. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
