A 1-year-old boy, who spent four days in critical condition after he was found floating face-down in a backyard pool, died Sunday in a hospital, police said Thursday.
Steven K. Banks of the 400 block of Cronin Road had wandered away from his grandmother, who was watching him July 21. Police say the child either fell or jumped into an above-ground pool.
