Our federal government is trillions of dollars in debt. Yet, it continues to make decisions that will increase that burden for us and generations yet unborn. One could say the debt is a measure of the incompetence of our ``leaders.''
The government will forget about Americans - such as the 5 percent who fall through the cracks of universal health coverage - but is more than willing to invade Haiti or assist Rwanda. All this from the greatest debtor nation on this planet (thanks to our ``leaders'').
It's time Americans let our leaders know: Think of Americans first, and quit pouring our treasure and blood down every rat hole on this planet!
