Jane Joyner Edwards, 58, a resident of Boykins, died Tuesday, July 26, 1994, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Southampton County near Boykins.
She was the daughter of Mrs. Juanita J. Ward and the late William D. Joyner. She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church and was employed at Parker Fuels in Boykins. She was the widow of Richard Vaughan Edwards.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Marie Davis of Conway, N.C. and Patricia H. Jones of Jackson, N.C.; her mother, Juanita Jackson Ward of Courtland; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Ann Edwards of Suffolk; and four granddaughters, Stephanie Marie Martin, Wendy Gay Bryant, Jennifer Lynn Jones and Danielle Marie Davis.
Graveside services will be held in Severn Cemetery, Severn, N.C., at 2 p.m. today by the Rev. Tom Caulkins and the Rev. Kenneth Williams. Memorial donations may be made to the Boykins Volunteer Fire Department. Purviance Funeral Home is in charge.
