Frank F. Ferchland Sr., 91, of the 500 block of Kempsville Greens Court, a retired police officer, died July 28, 1994, in Camelot Hall Nursing Home.
Mr. Ferchland, a Lutheran, was born in New York City and was retired from the New York City Police Department. He was the widower of Lola Gertrude Tweed Ferchland.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Harvey of Long Island, N.Y.; a son, Frank F. Ferchland Jr. of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 1994 in Cypress Hill Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
