Calvin Hodges, 42, of the 1200 block of W. 39th St., a roofer, died July 26, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Hodges was born in Norfolk and was a Baptist. He was employed with American Sheet Metal for 10 years and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his mother, Mae V. Bailey of Norfolk; his father, Thomas McCalvin Hodges of Norfolk; four sisters, Robin V. Hodges, Bertha S. Hodges, Dorothy Davis, all of Norfolk, and Thomasine H. Goodman of Woodbridge, Va.; one niece; three nephews; and one brother-in-law, Walter A. Goodman.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Wharton Funeral Home, Accomac, Va., by the Rev. Lewis Brim. Burial will be in the Bailey Family Cemetery, Melfa, Va. A wake was held at Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk, on Friday evening. The family will assemble at 1213 W. 39th St., Norfolk.
