KATHERINE M. WATSON

Katherine McNeely Watson, 99, of Witchduck Road, died July 29, 1994, at home.

Mrs. Watson, affectionately known as ``Micky'' and ``Katy,'' was born in Morganton, N.C., and was the widow of Joe H. Watson Sr.

Survivors include one son, Joe H. Watson Jr. of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Katherine W. Freeman of Dale City, Va., Joseph Glenn Watson of Hickory, N.C., Sandra W. Bossons of Halifax, N.S.; three great-grandchildren, Laura, Paige, and Will Freeman; one brother, Ralph McNeely of Morganton, N.C.; and beloved friend and companion, Linda Price.

Mrs. Watson was a member of The Christian Temple of Norfolk, where she was a long-time Sunday School teacher and lifetime deacon. She was on the board of directors of United Family Services and a member of the Witchduck Chapter of King's Daughters for a number of years.

A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Donald Kirkbride at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 1994, in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover Ave., Norfolk, from 6:30 until 8 p.m. today.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507.
