Mildred Jordan Bradley, 86, of Heron Pt. Ct., died Friday, July 29, 1994, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.
Mildred, affectionately known as ``Mimi,'' was born in Roanoke, Virginia. She has been a life long resident of the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. She was a member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Bradley.
Survivors include her sister, Virginia J. Blocker of Old Greenwich, Conn; a son, the Reverend Dr. Charles F. Speight, Jr. of Morgantown W.V.; a daughter, Geraldine Speight Knight of Norfolk, Va.; a son, James Earl Speight of Jacksonville Beach, Fl.; a step-daughter, Dorothy Bradley Lillard of Columbus, S.C.; four grandchildren; two great grand children; and three step-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Reverend Dr. Paul C. Lawson, Pastor of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
