James Monroe Ingram Jr., 54, of the 1300 block of Northern Dancer Run, a retired signalman first class, died July 28, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Ingram was a native of Danville, Va. He retired from the Navy after 20 years and was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Ingram Evans of Nebo, N.C., and Sandra Jean Shinault of Suffolk; a sister, Peggy Ingram-Smith of Gloucester, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk, by the Rev. Carlton Smith. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. today and at 4804 Afton Court, Suffolk, other times.
