Alan K. Allcox, 39, of the 300 block of San Roman Drive, died July 30, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Allcox was born in Norfolk and was a yard master for Norfolk Portsmouth Beltline Railroad. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the bowling league at Pinboys bowling alley.
Survivors include his wife, June Meekins Allcox; a son, Alan Keith Allcox, II, of Chesapeake; his parents, Sylvia Cowand Allcox and Maxton M. Allcox, both of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a brother, Richard E. Allcox of Slidell, La.; and maternal grandmother, Mattie White Cowand of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Willis Switzer. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. today.
